Perplexity Student Discount and Education Pro

Quick Verdict: perplexity student discount

Yes. Perplexity Education Pro costs $10 per month for verified students and educators, compared with the regular $20 monthly Pro price. Eligibility is checked through SheerID. This is a current discounted education plan, not the same promotion as the older free-year student campaign, and the final checkout terms still control billing and renewal.

• Who can apply: Verified students; Verified educators; Accounts supported by the official verifier
• Main limitation: The discount requires successful verification.

Current Perplexity student offer

The Perplexity student discount is a current Education Pro route for verified students and educators. That makes it different from a normal free tier and from the expired promotional campaigns sometimes repeated on coupon sites.

The current education price is $10 per month, compared with the regular $20 monthly Pro price. Complete SheerID verification and confirm the final billing and renewal terms in the official checkout before subscribing.

perplexity student discount: Eligibility Requirements

The official help material covers student-status verification, and the offer also includes educators. Verification support can vary, so a current academic role is necessary but may not be sufficient by itself.

Use an account and school evidence that match. Name or institution mismatches can slow manual review.

Perplexity does not provide one simple country list in the sources we could reliably read. The verifier and the current offer flow are the final test of regional availability.

If your country or institution is not supported, do not use a false location or borrowed credentials. Ask Perplexity support whether another verification route is available.

Start at the official students page, then complete the linked status check. An institutional email may allow a quick match; otherwise a current document may be requested.

AI Student Discount does not process verification documents. Keep sensitive enrollment evidence inside the official provider or authorized verifier page.

Education Pro is listed at $10 per month. Read the post-eligibility and renewal price before confirming because the checked material does not establish a permanent price after eligibility ends.

Set a reminder before the next verification or billing date. Losing student eligibility can change access or price even when the account remains active.

perplexity student discount: Limitations and Fine Print

Education Pro is positioned as a version of Perplexity Pro for academic users. Check the official plan description for the current feature set and any usage limits, because plan capabilities can change independently of the discount.

The main decision is whether the research workflow is useful throughout the academic year, not whether an old campaign once offered twelve free months.

• The discount requires successful verification.
• Availability can depend on country, institution and verifier support.
• Older free-year promotions are not evidence of the current Education Pro price.
